I noticed that too, in fact- I found out that the "New" Adventures they made back in the 80's looked MORE like Lupin the third...
Anyway, I actually found a place that ordered the first two volumes of the manga for me, so I'll have it in about 3 weeks, as a birthday present to myself, I guess... It's gonna be in the origional Japanese, so I won't be able to read it too much, but still- I'm pretty happy.
