Roughly what amount of money would go into the salaries of a team developing a game like Jazz3D? This is pretty movie-ish and naive, but if we could bring Jazz3D to the attention of enough people, maybe everyone(who has money to spare, of course) can pitch in with a small amount and lots of people contributing small amounts eventually puts together a large amount...
This is just a random idea, and it surely isn't the only way to get Jazz going again...I just thought it wouldn't hurt to casually mention it(and hopefully start something of a discussion)  |
I really doubt it'd be possible to pull a Serenity with JJ3. Even though a fair amount of people have heard of (and even played) the original Jazz Jackrabbit, most of the people outside of this community don't care enough to donate lots of money towards making a sequel. Sadly, if we want a JJ3, we're just going to have to hope that Epic takes charge and makes it.
