There is a slight difference between Jazz2 OEM Versions and Non-Betas.
So, for example:
If it's 1.23 or higher the Jazz2 menu Sprite (higher left corner)
will look like this:

And if it's 1.22 or lower then it will look different.
And it tells you the version of the game in the bottom left corner.
If you don't have 1.23 my best suggestion would be checking ebay.
And, of course, (before I forget) you need to patch the game to higher the version number. (The game that the disk comes on is usually 1.22)
