The only way Innocent can top that, and Innocent I hope you're taking notes is as follows:

Cori totally cops out and becomes a gigantic robot that can shoot lasers out of it's [insert body part commonly not associated with laser shooting] and accidently kills Meryl Streep in the process.

Only much cooler.
