ok first of all it's a draft not the finshed one yet. ok first of all devan thinks they are dead so he dumps them in the forest. secand it is the only thing he has to remind him of his dad and also he is thinking of a way to bust out of the restands at the same time so he was binding time. three ok i don't have a clue you don't see how they start the fight so i don't need to go over the fight. also then i would have to rewrite the story to revole around the fight at the start so i don't want to do that because i'm up to chapter 3 of the story and it's taking me a long time to think this up so pleese don't ask me to put it what they are fighting about.
