Okay Cool, do you mind if I call you Cool?

Here's a few things about English grammar:

1. A sentence always begins with an uppercase letter. You can get this through Shift+(*letter*) or typing with Caps Lock on. This is important because it helps with figuring out where a sentance begins.

2. Paragraphs. This has subsections:

2a. First, a paragraph is usually one idea. When you end your idea, you should end the paragraph. You wouldn't really say: "I ate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles," and "On Saturday I went biking," in the same paragraph, because they are separate ideas.

2b. When you make a new paragraph, I know that I at least find it easier to tell this if you press Enter (or Return on older keyboards) twice, to make a space, as you can see with my tips.

3. When doing quotes of what people say (in a story, not on the forum) it is in the following format:

"quote," said character.

It is important to do this, because it is then possible to see who says what.

4. Commas. The comma is very important, I could go on about how to use commas, but since you haven't used them much yet, I'll say that you can do it this way:

Whenever you have a pause in a sentence, or are listing things, use a comma.

5. Uh... nothing else really. Just wanted to help you make your posts more readable.

NOTE: Might be a good idea to make a sticky on proper writing? TO AN EXTENT, we don't want to be critical. But people should still be able to read posts.
