We have tickets in hand, and will supposedly (=most likely some hours later) be arriving at the Vancouver Amtrak station at 12:35 am on August 2, and departing the Vancouver Amtrak station at 5:30 am on August 8.

Note: Anyone who is under 18 and planning to take the Amtrak bus from Seattle to Vancouver should take note of this policy from the Amtrak site:
Passengers under 18 years old (if not traveling with both parents) must carry a notarized letter from any parent or legal guardian not present which gives permission for the child to cross the border. This letter must include the address and telephone number of the parent or parents not present.
