Answering the question in the poll: yes, having the community use a unifed version of JJ2 would be good. Note that I'm saying a unified version rather than specifically 1.23 or 1.24.

Answering the question in the post: no, I don't mind, having not played online for over two years. Outright distribution of 1.24 is illegal, but if a patch appeared to make 1.23 compatible (regardless of if the patch fixes bugs or not), then I'd use it.
