I wish this had been the destination for this year. I've been to Chicago many times and it's a very nice city. Also, if it had been held here, I could have actually made it >  .
I probably won't be in the US by the time this meeting occurs, but I think that if it's not going to be on the west coast planning should be especially early to allow people who will have to travel longer distances to save up and whatnot. Though if you choose Chicago for next year I will loathe you all.
