Anything that's closer to Europe than the WC would be good to me, as travel would obviously cost less. I'll probably go anyway though, but Chicago sounds great. Super-early planning is awesome too.

As far as I know almost everybody carries a passport in at least Europe, so that's not really that crucial information. Of course it's good to have that info, but since more than 5% of the people have a passport...
