It might as well be the other way round...

With Devan dead because he is fed up with Jazz thwarting his evil plans, the intergalactic rabbit can finally live in peace. They turn their back to Jazz, because they found out he only wanted to fight Devan for the merchandise. So now Jazz must fight against the intergalactic rabbits who all want to kill him for his treachery.

Sounds much more interesting...
