Looking back at the one of Marcello, you're right. ;| I didn't notice that till you pointed it out, and now it looks even weirder to me now that I see it. I *should* really fix that. 
Haha, also... Man, the tongue. I do see what you mean there about the tongue, should probably fix that as well as it looks rather odd and makes me shudder now.
Ugh, I knew something seemed rather odd with her head in the last one... Just couldn't pinpoint it. I'm not exactly sure how I'd go about on fixing that though, as I'm not sure how I'd make it so it does look like she has a neck. =|

The only reason most of my characters look chubby is because I do intend them to be that way as I don't really like the whole "OMG THIN!!!!" thing, as n00b said. :P
As for your question... That's exactly the part Eagle thing in him. Long story short, originally he's a Lynx/Fox hybrid, but he's went through some complex transplants and DNA modifications as to compensate for the physical damage he's had from a life threatening accident. Being a chimera, it was the only way he'd survive.
