You just reminded me of another of my moments. It's when I first modified JCS to ignore passwords.
Long ago when I was still a newbie I remember joining a hotel server. Very few people knew how to cheat those days (not me) and it was very difficult to actually do something against the level like getting inside the restricted hotel rooms. The hotel used springs as security doors and ice was the key to unlock them... which was obviously nowhere to be found.
I believe I got into an argument with the server and ended up being banned. So I opened the hotel in my JCS, modified the level by putting some respawning ice near the springs and hosted it myself. This is the first time I modified someone else's passworded level. When people started to join I remember them saying stuff like "This hotel has the worst security I've ever seen." "That's because I hacked it!", I replied. When I explained to them what exactly I did they were thrilled to hear how I can open passworded levels, which made me extremely excited. Also I remember the level author not being too happy about it.
