I'd suggest that the first two of each bracket proceed. Those ten players form 2 new brackets (randomly selected) with 5 players each. Out of these brackets, the first 2 will make it to the semi-finals. Those ranked third play for rank 5 etc. That way it might take quite some longer time to finish, but maybe thus we can bridge the time until the next JDC season
