... if I may share my humble opinion with you guys.
There are a lot of 'oldies' still playing the game. Why? Because they enjoy playing it. There are also a lot of newcomers. They will also enjoy it and become 'oldies', because the game itself, level maker inclusive, is always evolving. New tilesets, programs and ideas keep this game alive. You can't say the same for, let's say, an ordinary online platformer, because of the lack of creativity allowed to the player.
Also, why don't we put some blunt advertisement for J2O in, let's say, the Battle Server (as far as it still exists). Just text strings saying "For more information, visit www.jazz2online.com".
Though if you really want to attract people and still state the facts, replace 'information' with 'asian men hairstyles' or 'lolcats' or 'a community that is fun and retarded at the same time'.
