Well people, the book thing didn't work out. There's a story behind that, but I'm not going to be the author of it.
The good news for you guys is that I am going to post the ending anyway. It's kind of rough, as I can't find the final draft anymore and at this point have no interest in editing it further, but here it is. I wrote it a while ago, and to be honest I do not necessarily like the way I ended it, but several people have told me it's quite good, so I'll go with them. In any case, enjoy.

Chapter 4: Choices
As the rebellion ran full sprint towards Fooruman’s castle, there was a certain feeling in the air. It wasn’t sadness, and it obviously wasn’t happiness – it could best be described as empowerment. They’d all gotten all the weaponry they could carry, and each and every soldier there knew that the fight was going to end soon, one way or another. As they approached Fooruman’s fortress, the swirling vortex of a black hole could be seen far above the highest tower. Violet practically screamed into his intercom as they kept running. “Ok, everyone, he’s already begun opening the black hole. From here on it’s just a matter of time before he succeeds in his goal. This doesn’t change anything; we still proceed as planned.” No one really felt the need to respond – they were each preoccupied with their own thoughts. After a run that seemed agonizingly long, they reached the entrance to Fooruman’s fortress. Faw chanted some words and the front door instantly swung open. The rebellion ran in as quickly as possible. After they were in, they all stopped abruptly. Spotty and Faw looked at each other, then at Coppertop and Violet. After about a minute of silence, Spotty spoke. “I wish you foos the best of luck – I’m sure you’re going to need it.” Faw looked downward for a moment, then looked up to speak. “I’m not saying good bye, I’m saying good luck.” He immediately thrust out his hand towards Violet, and they shook hands firmly. “It’s been an honor, sir,” Faw concluded. Spotty and Faw then ran down a hall to the left, leaving Violet and Coppertop to the stairs, to the right. After running down the hall for a while, they came to a door. Faw chanted and the door flew open. Along all the walls, there were test tubes filled with DNA samples from various people. In the back of the room, there was Fooruman’s patented Clone-O-Matic. As Faw began chanting, the test tubes began to shatter, one by one. Spotty ran to the door and slammed it shut. He drew out his sword and got ready for a fight – he knew he’d get one. **********Violet and Coppertop ran up the massive spiral staircase as quickly as they could. When they reached the top, there was a hatch door. Violet threw it open with all his strength and jumped up through it with Coppertop right behind. Fooruman instantly spun around and began to laugh menacingly, leaving Black Ninja to chant. Violet drew out his machine gun. “Fooruman, you’re going down!” Fooruman laughed harder. “Fool! Do you really think there’s anything you can do to stop me?” Fooruman flicked his finger in the direction of Violet and the gun instantly flew out of Violet’s hands. Fooruman turned back around and began chanting once more. Coppertop cursed as she drew out her one projectile weapon – a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. She fired two RPGs at Fooruman and ducked. There was a massive explosion, but she could already tell Fooruman was unharmed. Fooruman turned around quickly. “Black Ninja, would you kindly take care of the situation in the cloning room? I’d like very much to destroy these pests in private.” Black Ninja immediately vanished in a cloud of fire. **********Faw finally finished chanting as the last of the test tubes was destroyed. Spotty looked around at the mess for a moment. “Ok, Faw, run to help out Violet and Coppertop. I still need to finish my job.” Faw looked at Spotty, then at the door. He then ran as quickly as he could. Spotty looked around at the mess again. He pressed some buttons on the Clone-O-Matic, then sat down on a chair to the right of the machine, keeping his sword ready. About a minute later, Black Ninja exploded into the middle of the room. He laughed. “Spotty. I’ve been waiting for this for so long…” “Then come and get some.” “Haha, you think I’ll actually fall for that? I know your friend just ran up the stairs.” Black Ninja clapped his hands, and Faw reappeared in a cloud of fire. Faw immediately began chanting, and as he did so, a huge ball of green fire began to form in his hands. He stopped chanting, and it soared at Black Ninja at full speed, knocking him over for a moment. “Well,” Black Ninja said, “isn’t that interesting? You guys have a wizard of your own. Of course, there isn’t a person in the world who can stop me now.” Black Ninja thrust his hand out and grabbed Faw by the neck, lifting him far above the ground. Black Ninja screamed something in Latin, and Faw dropped dead. Black Ninja looked down at him. He stretched out his hand, and effortlessly drained Faw of his magick. Spotty looked on in horror at Faw’s lifeless body. Black Ninja laughed. “All you’ve accomplished by bringing that mediocre wizard here is making Fooruman and I even more powerful! I’m so strong now that I can even feel your heartbeat.” Spotty looked down for a moment, then grabbed his sword off the ground and faced Black Ninja. As Black Ninja walked closer, Spotty backed away. Finally, Spotty had his back to the Clone-O-Matic – perfect. He turned around and, as quickly as he could, cut his arm and let his blood spill into the Clone-O-Matic. He slammed the “GO” button, and the machine began to crank. Black Ninja cursed as clones of Spotty began to shoot out of the machine. Spotty laughed and ran down the hallway as quickly as he could, towards the spiral staircase. Black Ninja watched him run out, then turned around and looked at the dozens of clones. He began to chant. **********Spotty ran up the stairs as quickly as he could; the plan was, so far, working perfectly. As he neared the top of the stairs, Black Ninja appeared. “Spotty, Spotty, Spotty. Did you really think you could stop me with untrained clones?” Spotty shook his head. “No, not really.” Black Ninja grabbed Spotty’s neck and lifted him up. He threw him through the hatch door and teleported up after him. He picked him up again and held him by the neck off the side of the spire. “Do you have any final words, whelp?” “Just a couple. You’re still my best friend.” After only a moment's pause, Black Ninja screamed as he threw Spotty off the edge of the spire. Spotty fell about forty feet and landed on his back. Black Ninja fell over on the ground. Fooruman immediately ran to him. “My faithful servant, help me vanquish our remaining foes! Only two remain!” Black Ninja coughed. “You go ahead, I need a minute.” Fooruman turned around and faced Violet and Coppertop. **********As Spotty lay on his broken back, he thought back to what Violet had said in the conference room just hours earlier. “Alright, everyone, it’s time to make a choice,” Violet said. “This is the hardest choice I can ever ask of you, but it needs to be made. Are each of you willing to die if it means the end of this war?” He paused for a moment and looked around the room. “This war can end tonight. You see, there’s one thing about humanity that makes us different from any other species. Do you know what that is? We wage wars. We do it for very stupid reasons, too. We, as a species, are not tolerant of each other. But there’s another side to that. The thing that makes us great. When the odds are bad, when things look bleak, when it seems there’s no hope left, we unite. Not only do we unite, we fight until the very death. We are so passionate about our beliefs that we are willing to die for them. So now, I ask you again, are you willing to die if it means we win the war? I know I am. Every person who ever practices magick has an aura about them. Obviously Fooruman’s is evil. We just happen to have a somewhat powerful wizard of our own – Faw. Now, here’s the plan. Black Ninja and Fooruman are now directly linked. We know that the blood of one of them will undo them both. Obviously they’re immortal, so there’s no way we’re going to strike blood. However, I think that if we can get Black Ninja to absorb Faw’s power, we may be able to bring out what humanity’s left in him. Any questions?” There was a brief pause in the room. Finally, Coppertop spoke. “When do we go?” Spotty laughed as he remembered the conversation. “Your move, Black Ninja,” he said. **********Violet and Coppertop doubled over in pain as Fooruman chanted his black magick at them. Black Ninja watched in ecstasy as his enemies suffered. He managed to pick himself up, although he was in emotional pain he couldn’t quite explain. He looked over the edge of the spire and saw Spotty. He fell back onto the ground again as he saw his old friend suffering. He looked off the other side of the spire and saw that the black hole was growing quite quickly now. He instinctively crawled towards it. “It’s time for me to end your pathetic rebellion,” Fooruman said. You fools have been two very sharp thorns in my side – no more!” Black Ninja reached the edge of the spire and looked down into the black hole. He looked behind him at Spotty, then looked to his other side and saw Fooruman torturing the remaining rebellion. He picked Spotty’s sword up and managed to stand up. Fooruman turned around and saw his servant getting up. “Ah, Black Ninja, are you ready to finish the deed? I’ve been saving them for you.” Black Ninja looked at Fooruman and smiled. “Fooruman, you’ll control me no longer,” he said. Fooruman’s eyes widened. “What? WHAT!” Black Ninja quickly slit his wrist with Spotty’s sword. He looked over the edge of the spire, then turned around once more. “Violet, Coppertop, please do not remember me as a villain.” He then hurled himself off the edge of the spire. Fooruman watched in horror as his servant fell into the black hole. He then looked at his hand – it was disintegrating. He looked down to see that his entire body was crumbling away. He turned around towards Violet and Coppertop. The black hole suddenly disappeared entirely. Fooruman fell down. About five seconds later, he burst into flame and was burned to ash. Violet and Coppertop looked down at the pile of ash that used to be their eternal adversary. They then looked at each other and hugged. There was a terrible cracking sound in the air. They immediately looked up towards the ruined earth – the black cloud around the planet was beginning to disappear! Violet stared with his mouth open. Coppertop looked on in disbelief. “Wow,” she said, “that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life.” Violet looked away from the earth towards Coppertop. “Is this real?” He asked. Coppertop looked at him and smiled. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure it is." Violet turned around and looked at the earth. Slowly but surely, a grin began to appear on his face. THE END
