Welcome to the community Mmadguy, good luck on your level, and good job figuring out SCEs 
The level looks like some kind of booby-trapped temple, maybe you could add some more eyecandy to make it look better, but it looks cool as it is. This is sort of like what Evilmike said about proper background, it's a bit bland.
