For future reference, if needed, make sure the music file is located in the same folder as the Jazz2(+).exe you're running.

Jazz2+ can play:
.MP1/MP2/MP3
.OGG
.WAV
.AIFF
.J2B
.XM
.IT
.S3M
.MOD

and any more I might've forgotten.
