Okay, let's get back to basics here. You're talking about converting images; that shouldn't be a big deal, given we understand the file formats. Breaking tilesets into three separate files kind of makes sense, in that the .j2t format only supports 256 colors, but I wonder if you might not have better results (lower filesize and better usability) modifying the .j2t format instead. But that's not too important. What's important is: what about the code? Do you have an engine? Are you seriously proposing to replicate the entire game engine, including all the objects, and if so, how far along are you?
