Now, to be fair, a lot of Gus's specific points hold true. Nick Stadler seems to have done very little work in the last several months of development, comparing 1.10o or even 1.00g/h with the release copy, and many of the issues with the tilesets, in particular masking errors, would have taken next to no time to correct. He's admitted he was new to tileset design, and it does kind of show, especially in organization. I think DoubleGJ gets it right: sure, there are definite problems, but they stop far short of supporting the conclusion Jazz Jackrabbit has never existed.
