1. Make the gameplay circular (you can go round the level)
2. Don't make dead ends
3. Spend much time on eyecandy
4. Be evil
4. Don't add puzzles to MP levels
5. Don't add areas-that are-hard-to-get-out-of.

I think this improves your levels.
