Okay, Kaz nagged me to post this chapter cause he was bored. It's a little short but then again, all my chapters are.
Enjoy.

Chapter 13: The Meeting of Warriors
“Okay defalcon, we gotta draw that ship’s attention so the the pilot will break away from the Ralvient.”
“Don’t worrk Yulif,” defalcon glanced into his HUD and keyed in a command. “I’m way ahead of you there.” He quickly dropped his aiming recticle over the starboard wing of the powerful craft. “That thing’s not going to get anywhere near the Ralvient. Computer, switch to hydra missiles. Target already acquired.”
“Remember we don’t want to blow this thing up. It’s too close to the other ships.”
“Acknowledged.” defalcon set his comm.-link to an open channel and directed it to the Nefirt. Keying the comm., defalcon pulled the trigger.
“Hey buddy, dodge this!”
SHIWP! A pair of thin, streamlined missiles sped towards the ship. The blue-headed projectiles were extremely fast and had no problems catching the ship.
“Okay defalcon,” Yulif yelled with a whoop, “That got his attention!”
The ship had corkscrewed to port in order to avoid the deadly warheads, but in doing so it had also brought it’s line of flight towards the planet Diamondus.
“Okay, herd it towards the planet! Get it as far away from the battle as possible!” Yulif checked his HUD. The ship could not head for the Ralvient without coming through the crosshairs of either him or defalcon. With an upwards yank of the control stick, Yulif brought up his missile targeting system.
“With luck that thing will have a missile-lock warning system.”
“The ship’s juking,” called defalcon. “Warning system confirmed.” The missile-lock warning system is a device that alerts pilots with a flashing light and beeping whenever the ship is targeted by an acquisition system. But in this case Yulif and defalcon could use the system by herding the ship with their targeting systems.
“Okay, we have that ship running. He’s at full power!” Yulif laughed. The ship was heading right where they wanted it to. “just a little further and-“
WHAM! A barrage of laserfire hammered Yulif’s shields. Yulif cursed out loud and dove beneath the line of fire.
“I have a little problem here defalcon, I got a ship on my tail! He must’ve slipped past Kaz and the others! I can deal with him, but I’ll have to-ugh! Break away! Get rid of that ship, I’ll be with you in a moment!”
“Acknowledged Yulif. defalcon out.”

“Urg! What does it take to get rid of you?” Coppertop went full speed through the narrow canyon, coughing as dust, dirt and all manner of beetles swung by her face. “Looks like they want to do it the hard way.” Levelling out, she sped straight forward as a pursuing turtle began to close the gap. Without warning, she suddenly slammed the breaks and the bike went from full speed to ¼ power in a matter of seconds.
“Hey what the!” SWISH! Coppertop again zoomed full power straight at the confused turtle and took him out with a deft slice of her razor-sharp sword. As the other turtles looked on in horror, Coppertop whipped out her blaster and spun around on the bike. Wavy black hair flying out behind her, she snapped off some quick shots at the turtles, all but eliminating the threat.
All but one lone officer.
As the powerful bolts sped at him, the turtle acted on his wits and deftly activated his personal shield. Out of the armour on his left arm sprang a polished spiral-shield. The shield deflected all the shots, leaving the turtle unharmed.
“Drats, didn’t get him! Totalled the shield though.” The turtle, triumph riding freely on his face having survived, nearly died of shock as the shield suddenly shattered.
“Just you and me now, turtle. No shield to protect you. How does that make you feel?”
The turtle gulped but played it calmly. “Pretty good, rodent. Looks like I’ll be having some meat tonight.”
“We’ll soon find out!” Coppertop launched the bike forward, whipping out her blaster. Deftly avoiding enemy fire, she switched the settings dial.
Maximum power.
“What’s the matter fur-ball? Gun not working?” The turtle sneered at Copper as his shots grazed her sides and clipped her ear. Enraged, her return fire was not as accurate.
“Enough of this! I’m through with playing!” She put away her blaster and with a roar of fury slammed on the afterburners. The turtle screamed at the sight of the mad rabbit heading towards him when she suddenly left sideways of the bike.
“Yaarrgh! Noo….what the? She jumped!”

“Just a few more minutes and I have you…” Through an eyeful of sweat, defalcon closed in on the enemy ship. Slowly his near misses became more accurate. Finally, he got in close enough to block the fighter.
“Heheh. Boxed in and nowhere to go. Fire!” The enemy ship was peppered with small missiles which ripped the fuselage into pieces. The ship tumbled out of control and spiralled towards the planet. But in the pilot’s dying moments, he managed to fire off a missile at defalcon’s ship.
WHAM! “Argh! Going towards the planet! Gotta…pull up…dang, I’m too late…”

Unknown to the turtle, Coppertop had not committed an act of suicide. She had grabbed the bottom of the bike and had used the mystic powers of her sword to shield herself in an invisible shroud. The bike, seemingly under no control, had stopped and hovered.
“Yes, she’s gone. How amusing. Die rather than be taken.” The turtle pulled up alongside the bike and examined it. Still without a scratch. Pausing to catch his breath, he let out a sight of relief.
“Taaaaaaaaake………thiiiiiiissssssss!!!!!!!!! ” SWING! Coppertop leapt up and in mid air had done a full twist of her body. The sword sheared through the turtles bike and upper torso, and as he fell through the misty canyon, Coppertop could not help but feel satisfaction.
“Yes, good. All gone. But what’s that sound? Burning?” Copper sniffed the air and looked up in horror as a flaming ball of fire headed straight in her direction.
