JCS-to-JJ2 rendering of layers L0 Auto through L7 Auto

It comes to my attention that the layers in .j2l files are actually named:
  • L0 Auto
  • L1 Auto
  • L2 Auto
  • L3 Auto
  • L4 Auto
  • L5 Auto
  • L6 Auto
  • L7 Auto

My guesstimation indicates that the game renders, in this order:
