I agree though, GM is mainly meant for 2D projects. Although I actually used to work on some 3d stuff as well, and while it was super limiting, it was, in a way, kind of fun, because I had to figure out loads of ways to overcome those limitations, which can actually build game design in some ways (It has happaned many times before).
