Another game link, Super Beast World feels very fast despite having obstacles, enemies, pickups, and occasional branching paths. A big part of that is the combos, you have to keep killing more enemies to raise your combo meter, and to find more enemies you have to keep moving through the level. The combo meter is very prominently on the screen at all times and uses positive and negative language to reinforce that you're supposed to be paying attention to it.
