Why ask for it from someone else when you could probably get the sound yourself? Try and follow these steps and see if you can get the sound from your own computer in perfect quality. There probably is a much easier way to do this, but I don't know how, so I'll just blab on becuase I nothing better to do.

.) Get a recording program that doesn't suck. I don't know any ones that are really good that are free, I use a program called Cool Edit 96. There's probably something a lot better than that, but I don't know what is is.

.) If you already have the Master Sound icon on your taskbar, double click on that. It looks like a yellow horn thingy. If you don't already have this, open sndrec32.exe in /Windows (assuming you have Windows 95 or 98). From there go to Edit > Audio Properties. A new window should open up. At the very bottom of this window is an option for showing sound volume control on the taskbar. Click that and then close Sound Recorder. The yellow speaker icon should be on your tasbar. Double click it and open it up.

.) Now you have a window with a bunch of sound controls open. In here, mute everything except for Master and Wave. Then, go to Options > Properties. Click on the Recording radio bar. Then go through the list of selections and (if you see the option) check items like Loop Back, Speaker Output, Wave Output. If you don't see anything like that, you're probably screwed. Stop now.

.) Click OK, and a new window will appear that has the Recording Volume Controls. At the bottom of each different selection is a checkbox that says Select. This tells which things your sound card is going to record. Click Select for nothing but what you chose earlier (the Loop Bacl/Wave Output, etc) stuff. What selecting this does is that when you tell the program (for example, Cool Edit 96) to record, it will record everything that comes out of your speakers.

.) Now, make a very small level that is completely blank except for something to walk on. Now, place a Red Gem in the level right next to the ground so that you don't have to jump to get it (or else when you record you'll get the sound of you jumping and the Gem Sound mixed together.

.) Start Recording in your sound recording program.

.) Run your new level. Make sure that you have Sound FX turned up all the way in your Jazz 2 Options menu. Now, go and get the Gem. Don't jump while you're getting it, or side kick, or upper cut. Just walk over and get it. Now, press Alt+F4 to exit Jazz 2. Go back into your recording program and click to stop recording.

.) If you did everything correctly you should have recorded the Gem sound. Now select all of the wave that isn't the Gem sound and delete it. Now save the file. Congratulations, you have the Gem sound.

I hope that wasn't too confusing. I just needed something to do while a song downloaded =P
