Yeah, I am pretty sure you don't need to block WAN request at all. The port forwarding should take care of it. However, if you feel that you need to test your latency time on a non-JJ2 server with the respective port blocked, then you need to disable it so you can get the test results. Other than that, it does not do a lot more for access.
