DARN! I thought I would come in with the "original" answer that the dopefish ate it, but not only did Unknown use it already, it was in the first post as well!

There is another possibility that nobody listed: birth defect. Although I like the theories that it was lost somehow.

And onto further Spaz insights (we're probably reading more into this guy than Epic did...) he possibly has some kind of ADD or something, I dunno.... He's also intelligent, but a crazy. (lol, an intelligent wacko...)

And on the topic of glasses, I first needed mine when I couldn't read the board in sixth grade. My eyes have progressively gotten worse, but I still take them off to read. You get used to them, but at first it is wierd.

Oh, and I had an idea. When fighting Devan, Jazz should knock off his glasses. THAT would be hilarious! Devan groping around, and looking lost and confused while Jazz melts him with a toaster! YEAH!

On the war between turtles and rabbits, whatever the reason it seems to have more of a reason than many of the wars we have these days. I think that Devan is an ambitous conquerer seeking to create an empire, and the Rabbits are rebelling against him. (But not like Star Wars.) The tourtise (sp?) and the hare is not the story behind it, it is just an example (Now they're at it again, 2000 or so years after...) Whatever. I guess platformers/side scrollers never have had and never will have great stories. But that's what the War Tavern is for! (For instance in my story I'm coming up with a lot of reasons for things and elaborating more on events in the Jazz universe. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet.)
