Router? Why not just pick up two network cards and an old box? After all, a cheap router is one of the best linux uses. ;p

As for WineX, i did download it and compile it and it ran pretty nicely. But in order to get full speed, you'll need to run jazz2 in DirectDraw mode, but you'll have to play around to get all your keys to be focused on jazz2, which is a little funny with WineX, and i don't think i've had that problem with wine.
