If you look more closely, you'll find these robots in the secret levels:

Ep 1: Katana (Diamondus)

Ep 2: Jaguar (Technoir)

Ep 4: Shredder (Nippius)

Ep 5: Pyros (Marbelara)

Look them up if you want
