To reinstall, use the second utility from http://www.jazzjackrabbit.com/dlj2util.htm to remove the registry entries, then install.

For the hosting.. uh.. that's not my area of expertise But I'd suggest after patching to use Alberto's "fixed" exe from http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...hp?levelid=769 , even though it won't solve your hosting problems.. but will make starting a server slightly faster when you do get it fixed.
