Shields are (!), all thje shields, equally, in all the levels, Moonblaze.
I don't agree with your post at all, I'm an oldie and I don't think shields are for newbies even. Shield IS NOT a cheat it's a (!).. a newb mite say it's part of the game but he's lame then.

The only thing un-fair about shields is one thing, but a big thing: you cannot get hurt.
If you want to get maximum a rated 8 from me in a level with a shield, better be an action packed lev (easy to die) and have a coin warp at a hard to reach place (top?) with a coin warp of about 100 coins.
