Moin just means Hello and its mostly only used in the north of Germany.

And do you know why Moin is only used in the north of Germany? Cause Moin is such a great word, that it only can be used by great people. And cause in the north of Germany are only great people, its only used there...äh, here.

So in Baziland (Bavaria) there is just "Grüß Gott", and that sounds totaly weak, i tell ya!!!
