Radium, if you are using Gamemaker, make sure you have the latest version 5.2. Also, if you have questions, either post them on the gamemaker forum or post them on Gaming World's forum ( www.gamingw.net/forums). I prefer the latter, been there longer myself. 
Also, Sphere or Ika would be better for RPGs than Gamemaker. Sphere, for one thing, was made for RPGs in mind. Ika is just more powerful.
