It looks to me that JJ2's fun and possibilities have never been surpassed by any other game in it's genre, and chances that it will in current times are tiny.

And for that reason, I will keep on playing JJ2 every now and then in my life, for as long as I keep enjoying games in general.

It's really not that strange if you think about it, many classic games have their cult following, keeping relatively small groups of people together for the same reason for what looks like forever. Why not JJ2.
