To convince people to donate you'd need to:
- Show what you need the money for (what are your monthly costs? Are you covering any of them yourself? Are there any start-up costs?)
- Convince people they can trust you with their money (Have you run a donation-based project before? Can you show us anything that proves you have the know-how to pull this off? Have you ever succesfully run a 24/7 JJ2 server?)
- Clarify why you need donations now while dedicated servers have pretty much always been available to the general public for free.

The startup cost is 50€ (I Didn't find good free alternated of the program) but later I only need to pay 20€ for month. Its little hard to do this...
Before the days of the launch (and even buying a host) I will testing them if there are problems to iron out.
About dedicated servers I don't trust them. First I need Windows, Jazz isn't made for Linux, emulator makes shitty server anyway.
