'Course, there is that chasm between Furious and everyone else, and the Bookmark of Eternity isn't exactly something you can throw across.
I'm not sure you understand how the Bookmark works. It can only be moved when Uberbob's touching it, otherwise it stays perfectly still no matter what. It was developed by mages as a bookmark that couldn't fall out of books, but they ran across the problem that you couldn't move the book once it was inside.
