Double defense cancels out feat, but Abydos cast a spell the turn before and didn't defend which doubles the damage he receives from attacks.

I felt that maybe I should've clarified that. Technically what Snow Skin does is 4x defense, but, given that it's also a spell, in practice it just doubles it. I'll redo the last turn with different commands (just this once ); ) or amend the text if you want.
