Thanks for the write-up Blade, this was really interesting to read. So many cool ideas that fell by the wayside! The finished tileset is brilliant by itself, and maybe better for its focused vision. But I cannot help wondering if, now that people can easily mix and match tilesets with MLLE, a 'bonus tileset' with some extra tiles people could include if they wanted to would make sense. The houses of cards and background castles are beautiful... and the blimp reminds me of the one in Valentine's Day!
