It seems like 30 minutes sounds pretty ambitious. Not saying it should be less, but do think about:

1. The issues with getting people with lots of things they want to do (and who may want to have their sound used for playing music or playing jj2) to spend half an hour of attention. That's *long*
2. The issues with filling half an hour with material good enough to keep people's attention, and keeping that up for several weeks.

Myself I would be a little less ambitious and focus on making the podcast focused, short and to the point - to maximise attention and the people listening. You don't have to give up quality to have it shorter. Or you could provide versions with additional music etc. and without.
