You are overextending the word 'bloodlust'.
According to Rad: "-Bloodlust: Increases unit's attack. "
It does not say: "-Bloodlust: Increases unit's attack and makes unit want blood really badly. ". It's like in a RPG. If you cast 'Hast' your characters don't rush through things so fast they do a messy job. If you cast 'slow' your enemies don't get stupid.
