Your invintory breaks your heart by turning down your proposal. You look at the orb with the crystal, though it can't seem to see through the orb either. You return to the three-way fork in the tunnel and look down the left passage. You know the passage contains the save point (haven't been there in a while) and Orb, because you just went down it a while ago.
