The background mountains have some lovely soft coloring, and you're doing a great job having the tiles not look too tiley! Even the various 32x32 blocks look nice and curved, reminiscent of the walls in Castle. The gems and roots in the bottom left look a little pasted on right now, though, with the surrounding rocks not having their shading altered at all around the outlines, and I wonder if you could find a color for the plants that's a little less pure green.
