At first I read the hang thing as something among Knuckles' climbing. This would be neat but I can see it allowing tons of levels to be reached out of their boundaries. Well, hanging on the edges was originally intended for JJ2 (as seen in unused sprites), so why not... It's always that one tile higher.

And the difference in her spinkick is that it is notably shorter than Spaz's sidekick, but it can be performed continously one after another, with the possibilty to change direction with each. You can easily decimate tons of enemies on a single platform while dodging attacks with this. It has little use in multiplayer, though.
