You reach in to get the mouse. As you put your hand around it, it shrieks in it's last bit of life, stabs its toothpick deep into your hand, and falls limp. You yelp a bit, waking Faw up, and quickly yank the toothpick out of your hand. Your hand is bleeding pretty bad, but you managed to get the mouse, at least.
