If you bought JJ2 legally, reinstalling the game should fix the problem.

If you downloaded it, I can't help you.

Same as littlefreak, if you downloaded it. Try to get it from other players or friends or buy in from the internet.

He's probably being truthful here, people. I lost my disc (which is a pain in the (-)(-)(-)) and if you bought the game close to it's release date, like me, then it's probably got scratches and crap on it.

That's another reason why you should take care of your cds. I bought it close to the release date I think, and it still functions fully and normally.

1. Use CD cases.
2. Be careful when, for example, putting a CD into the disc drive instead of just slamming them in.

Follow these rules and you'll be fine.

You could try burning all the data on a CD, but I guess that needs some knowledge to be done correctly.

I "slam" my discs in and they're fine. It probably has to do with how hard you "slam" it.

I know people who have lost CDs due to faulty CD drives. There is a reason why drives above 52x are rare - that's pretty near the point where the media disintegrates.

Actually there was a case where a 60-something x CD-ROM drive melted a disk.
