Even if it was made in JSD, There is NO way that JJ2 would show the health as numbers. It only uses one heart sprite, and if we could change that, well, we'd have JJ2 mods off the wazoo.

Not only that, but NO airborne enemy in jj2 shoots projectiles.

Let me explain it better =D
You could create a program that reads your health, it would reset it when you got hurt, but it would also keep track of how much damage you recieve. It would subtract the amount of damage you recive from whatever number you specify, and then to display it, you would have some text (like text event text.) that got memory edited, to display the number in the correct place, to prevent the text from moving or going off the screen you would nop the ASM that makes the text move.

That would prove impratical. AFAIK, in Single Player JJ2 can only display 1 text event at a time. Why would Violet leave a Terexin NPC around if he won't say anything?

Talking Theive's Guild scenes

Here are some screenies from my latest levelpack!

The screenies include scenes from the thieve's guild, one dodging the security spotlights (And doing a pretty bad job of it!), the other doing a box puzzle after sliding down a garbage chute.

The tileset is all great, but the dirt could use some improvment.

And what Birdie said to Biohazard. The tileset looks awesome, but the ground is too repetitive.

It's pretty hard to recreate the old Beach BG, except for the poorly colored bit, I'm actually extremely close.

Good point, n00b! If spaz were to stand on one of those mushrooms, he could kick his way from one end to about halfway!

(And Spaz's kick can go pretty far!)

Also, P4ul, I LOVE the eyecandy in your level,*giggles* it's better eyecandy than goes into my Theive's guild or even my Jack city level!

Iv'e got a question for you though. What level type is it for?

Yes, but only rarely. And I hardly ever see anything special in my own.

Does saying I like them count as arguing? I like Cooba's, too, you know, I just don't see anything special in them. Since saying I see nothing special in these (despite liking them a lot) will start a flame war, I won't say it.

Biohazard: Some parts of your tilesets are of lower quality than what they resembled, such as the frozen dopefish and baddies, the HH98-style ground and the HH94 (or 95..?) trees. I don't like the grass very much either, since it's more dotty than patchy and they look like spikes.

The big picture still looks stunning. The mountains, sky and clouds are amazing, and it doesn't really matter that textured backgrounds are harder to use. I really like the in-built animated snow (finally you can have proper snow in multiplayer!).

While there aren't many natural objects, every single one is..um, adorable. I loved the stompable ice surfaces, revealing water underneath...looks cold. The blue, snowy Carrotus pole tree is also a nice touch. Good job getting the white colour right. Talking about colour, the snow is a bit untextured, but that 3x1 'curl' of snow looks kinda delicious. Ooh, and I still enjoyed the deep-frozen characters. They reminded me of the ice cave scene in Ice Age. You could add more interesting stuff into the ice (I actually thought that castle was also in the ice block from your screenshot..), not just dopefish.

I have to stop writing now or I might as well turn it into a review (was I using a constant tense throughout? ). A final thing...with a few tile adjustments and additions, this cold very well be turned into Blackraptor's Lair.

R3p: Your picture's down.
