I would do something, but despite staring at the set, I can't figure out a thing to add to it other than background layers, and it needs more layer 4 variety first. Does anyone have any ideas?

What does Purplejazz's tile have to do with the rest of the set in the first place?

That's what I'm wondering, too.
I guess he drew inspiration from that picture, which is awesome and could be drawn inspiration from if the tileset was going my direction, but....... it does not fit at all...

Add more layer 4 variety.
So far I've made, but not uploaded, a hurt tile for the more natural ground (semi-decent) and parts of a layer 4 backgroud for the same ground (lame).

MsPaint?

Or perhaps you are using some kind of Linux based system? (Although I think some kind of Imageeditor is included in those too, but perhaps not.)

Ofcourse it does, dear friend. I think what Jerrythabest refered to was that it is obvious that Vista has an image editor.

It's a little vague, though. I must say, I'm not really sure what he meant either.

I'll add a textured background when I get home and have time, but after that I think we can call it good. (Although zaps should get only most of the credit, not all of it.)

This LMAT looks VERY nice. I hope I could add tiles there too, but I quite cant do anything like that :/ ... When and IF this LMAT is ready, I could use this in a level.

If it makes hotels look better even if 'degrading' the tileset, why not

It's pretty tileable. Well, actually the black spots that appear when tiling it spoil it somewhat.

it looks really great, just copypaste some in paint and see, it doesn't even need to be a textured background
