Details: I got a 256 mb 7800 NVidia GForce GTX (POWERFUL card)
Intel Pentium 4 dual core 3ghz
2 gb of ram
FIOS internet (maxes at about 1.1 mbps)

So why am I having such issues? I think it might have something to do with JJ2+ and the more players that join, the worse it gets...

LOL alright. I mean my onboard worked fine. But the thing was, I was using the original jazz2.exe from TSF. Maybe my anims.j2a is the problem? I'll try using an original copy of 1.24, then.

Oh, and for some reason, I can only host with plus. I'm not sure why, but the original JJ2 won't allow me to host... Odd... It kind of sucks because I wanted to use Forest to make it all spaz and such... Oh well that's weird, though. If anybody could explain THAT one, I would like to know why, and what I need to do.

Same thing happened to me before. I still can't host. I guess the internet just hates me.

Can you explain how bro? I mean my IP's never renews, I set up a local static one. Or is it something in the router?

Run cmd, type in ipconfig, Look at your default gateway number, also your IP address (your network one). Type your gateway number into your favorite browser. This should bring up your router settings.
You will need to find DMZ and there should be a box or scroll bar for you to type in your IP address.
