I don't think that that's any problem since not many people are interested in doing the next level. So I guess next week would be fine.

Eh, I'm in. Should be fun. Just one question: Is there any overall level type? Platformer? Shoot-em-up? Puzzle? Cross-breed?

Ok hate to trigger another Zapper attack, but Jazz Jackrabbit 2's genre IS platformer. Also, shoot-em-ups in the sense of Metal Slug do not translate well into a JJ2 made level.

No, I meant: Lots of jumping, enemies, puzzles, or a mix?

That's your decision. You can make the level just how you want to. Just make sure that the level fits in with the story.

I just had an idea; we should fix all spelling and grammatical errors in levels before the 'official' release of the episode. Just a little polishing thing (and I hate bad spelling.)

I agree that before it's going to be released things should be polished. Not only spelling but maybe also other things. But yeah, we still got a lot of work to do first.

WerBack3>> is added to the list.

Edit: Maybe we should only make the levels available for people who is going to work on the episode and some betatesters. Just so that when it's finished the whole community didn't already played it. What do you people think?

It is possible, but it requires some organisation. I'm not sure if it is useful if only a few other people download the finished levels...

I think that when someone finishes a level, they should send a PM with the link to everyone participating (+ possible betatesters), but keep the rest of the discussion here.

Yes, that's a good idea. I could also PM everyone with the link if it's too much work for the creator.

Newspaz haves some difficulties so can't do the third level. So we need someone else to do it now. Who's up for the challenge?

Hmm... I suppose I could try my hand at it.

EDIT: Oh, by the way, I need to know the storyline progression of level 2 first.
EDIT AGAIN: Now I know. I think I could do it.

Pretty good. Here's a screenie of the starting area:

The hard part is getting all the proper tiles in place. I've also got the thing layed out, and the base shape of the level carved away.

And I agree with Cooba here: Looks promising.

I like it, although it looks a little dull at the moment.

Anyway, the tileset reminds me why I absolutely hate using "mechanical", humanmade themed "3D" tilesets. There's... never correct slopes...!

Heh, the window actually is translucent, just you can't see it very well because there isn't anything complicated behind it.

UPDATE:

Current state of the layout of the... mine? Some areas have more/less metal because of stability.

EDIT: Updated with better picture. I love Paint .net.
